How often do you release new updates?

We normally release our updates 3 times a year, in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Please subscribe to our newsletter to receive all the latest news about Synera and upcoming releases.

How can I get notified about new releases?

Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on LinkedIn to get the latest Synera news. Additionally, stay up to date by reading the news feed inside the software.

Are there any new system requirements for the new release?

Synera is now based on .NET 8 instead of .NET 6, but you don't need to do anything about this change because it is installed automatically. No other system requirements changed, you can review them here. (Portal-access needed)

How can I provide feedback or suggest features for future releases?

You can create a Support Request in the customer portal. We are happy to answer questions, help resolve bugs and receive ideas for new features there.

Can I upgrade directly from my current version to the latest version?

Yes, you can download the new installer from the customer portal and install it without uninstalling the previous version. Settings, license setup, add-ins and existing workflows are not affected by the update.

Is there a rollback option if I face problems with the new release?

Yes, you can download an older version of Synera from the customer portal and install it. You need to uninstall the newer version first, but settings, license setup, add-ins and existing workflows are not affected by the uninstallation.

Is the new release compatible with older versions of my operating system?

We require at least Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) version 1703. Windows 11 is working without version restrictions.

Will my existing add-ins work with the new release?

All existing add-ins are working in the new release. However, if you want to make use of the latest features, we encourage to update the add-ins as well.
